I am an isotope geochemist and paleoceanographer, with particular interests in understanding the role of continental weathering in the carbon cycle, and the interactions between ocean circulation, ice sheet dynamics, and climate change. To this end, I use laboratory experiments and paleo-reconstructions of both radiogenic isotopes (e.g. Nd, Pb, Sr) and non-traditional stable isotopes (e.g. Li) in archives such as ocean sediments, deep-sea corals, and speleothems. |
