Job Title:

Lecturer in Statistical Science

Bio:

I joined the Department of Statistical Science at UCL as a Lecturer in April 2021. My research is in the area of extreme value analysis, and I’m particularly interested in extremal dependence modelling (in multivariate, spatial and spatio-temporal contexts) and environmental applications of these statistical approaches.
Prior to joining UCL, I completed my PhD, entitled ‘Classifying and exploiting structure in multivariate extremes’, at Lancaster University. This was followed by a postdoc at the same institution, where my work focused on developing approaches for modelling spatio-temporal extremes.

Research Interests:

extreme value statistics, dependence modelling, spatial and spatio-temporal extremes, environmental applications
