Abstract
|
The mechanisms of seismic anisotropy in the Earth’s mantle are still not fully understood. In this study we will substantially sharpen the resolution of anisotropy images through state-of-the-art simulations of seismic wave propagation. e will undertake geodynamical simulations to understand the causes of the observed anisotropy and their implications in terms of mantle flow. |
