As part of a new award to the London NERC DTP from NERC’s Added-Value Activities in Innovation grant, the DTP has organised a number of additional training and networking workshops to develop business and entrepreneurial skills, engage with industrial, commercial and policy end-users, and develop specific skills in collecting, interpreting and commodifying environmental data.
The London NERC DTP offered six, three-month internships, for students to work with a relevant organisation and gain experience in business, policy, and industry, to begin in March 2017. Subsequently, we offered funding for a further five internships with Defra, begining in October 2017 and running through until August 2018.
