Registration is now open for the one-day (introductory) workshop “Entrepreneurial skills for PhD and doctoral students (SPERO Discover)”. This is run by UCL’s Innovation & Enterprise Entrepreneurship team. No prior business experience is required, nor do you need to think of yourself as an aspiring entrepreneur or come equipped with a business idea.
The workshop will help you develop your own entrepreneurial thinking in both your academic and personal life, and will help you to start to recognise and use your entrepreneurial skills – whether it be to heighten the impact of your research or to help you think about future career paths. For those who don’t identify themselves as having enterprising or entrepreneurial ambitions, this workshop encourages you to develop your skills associated with your doctoral journey through a professional lens.
Registration is currently available for two dates.
To find out more and to sign up please click on the date that suits you the most:
• Friday 27th September 2019, 09:30 – 16:30
• Tuesday 1st October 2019, 09:30 – 16:30
You will receive 2 training points through the Doctoral School for completing a day’s training.
