Promotion of UKRI’s Clean Air Analysis and Solutions programme – Advance notice of 2021 intensive observing periods

The Clean Air: Analysis and Solutions programme supports multidisciplinary research and innovation to stimulate practical and usable solutions for clean air. It is part of the Strategic Priorities Fund, delivered by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), and is a collaboration led by the Natural Environment Research Council and the Met Office, with the Economic and Social Research Council, Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, Innovate UK, Medical Research Council, National Physical Laboratory and Defra.

The partners in the Clean Air programme would like to encourage community participation in a co-ordinated UK observing intensive period in 2021. The aim of this early announcement is to facilitate a mobilisation of interested communities of researchers around two pre-defined periods. It is hoped that an early signposting of these dates will allow interested parties to seek funding, coordinate field and equipment deployments and align PhD projects.

Winter observation period: Mon 20th Jan to Fri 28th Feb 2021
Summer observation period: Mon 8th June to Fri 17th July 2021
