Network Manager for Air Quality Network+ job opportunity


Manager for STFC Air Quality Network+
Closing date: 23rd June 2019
Part-time, 70% FTE till 30th June 2023


The University of York’s Wolfson Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratories (WACL)wish to recruit a Network Manager to oversee an exciting new research network, the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) Air Quality Network+ (SAQN+), which aims to establish a multidisciplinary community that can leverage STFC research and capabilities to address air quality challenges.


You will be actively involved in developing and managing the SAQN+ activities, governance and reporting, establishing the network, growing its membership and promoting its activities to a wide range of stakeholders. You will work with the project team to organise events and run small project funding calls to establish new collaborations and partnerships, facilitating genuinely interdisciplinary research that can deliver real air quality improvements. You will manage the network budgets and administration, supporting the project PI and wider project team. As a key member of the SAQN+ Leadership and Management Group you will actively contribute to generating ideas, driving progress and coordinating delivery, evaluation and reporting against agreed project outcomes.
