During the week of 29th July – 4th August there is an excellent opportunity for NERC researchers to get involved with the Eden Project’s Earth Story. This week is dedicated to public engagement showcasing NERC science to families and visitors at the Eden Project, where researchers can get access to NERC’s Operation Earth kit. This is an great platform for researchers to meet Eden Project’s visitors, and vice-versa, as well as develop science communication skills.
What’s involved? – A talk, workshop or activity designed for a family audience, anything that can communicate current environmental science research to the interested crowds! It could be hands-on, video, experiments. NERC researchers can use the Operation Earth kit, and theatre show to audiences.
What Eden can offer – Free access for you and accompanying friends/ family to Eden. Opportunity to develop engagement experience by working with Eden Project’s Narrator and Storyteller teams.
