We are pleased to announce that the London NERC DTP will be offering a Research Experience Placement (REP) again this year.
Research Experience Placements
These 6-week summer placements offer undergraduates studying quantitative disciplines the opportunity to undertake an environmental science research project at one of the DTP partner institutions, giving a taster of what it’s like to be a postgraduate researcher, and encouraging them to consider a career in the environmental sciences.
Hours per week may vary based on location, but the placement will be over 6 consecutive weeks. The REPs will provide a salary, paid at no less than the minimum wage rate. The hourly rate may differ depending on the location of the placement, as employment procedures and processes will vary at each institution. The deadline for applications is TBC
