UCL Conservation Society BioBlitz

The UCL Conservation Society is hosting a ‘BioBlitz’ on Gordon Square as part of London’s City Nature challenge 2019 (http://citynaturechallenge.org/) on Friday 26th April. We are going to gather and spend the day in Gordon Square aiming to identify and photograph as many species as possible! This includes birds, insects, plants, and anything we can find! We will record everything using the iNaturalist app, and also use the opportunity to discuss London wildlife and showcase ecological methods with other UCL students and staff, as well as the general public!

Are you a scientist or nature lover? Do you want to get involved?

We are looking for volunteers to participate and help us identify and search for species on the day – if you are interested in an opportunity to spend some time outside, see what’s in our local green space and communicate with the public please get in touch!
