DTP student Alex McGoran was interviewed by BBC News about her research into microplastics and their impact on aquatic organisms. As part of her PhD, Alex took part in a recent post mortem of a Thames Estuary Seal at the Natural History Museum, in the hopes of better understanding how plastic pollution is impacting these creatures.
