Supra-Regional Assay Laboratory, Guildford (part of Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Service)

Part of the role of the SAS Trace Element Laboratory, is to test human samples to determine exposure to toxic heavy metals, such as lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury.

The laboratory is part of Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, but based on Surrey Research Park.

Research Areas / Subjects of Interest:

We are interested in environmental exposure to heavy metals, particularly lead in children.
