UCL Conservation Group Plastics and pollinators events

The UCL Conservation Group has the following events on offer:

The 26th April is #UCLPlasticFree day. On this day there will be:

  • A showing of “A Plastic Voyage” – a film made by the all-female eXXpedition crew who sailed abound the British Isles to raise awareness on plastic pollution. The film (45 mins) will be followed by a panel discussion featuring eXXpedition crew members, artists and scientists.   • Museum of the Future – a pop up exhibition in the North Cloisters from 10 am to 4 pm run by artist Jo Atherton – the exhibition will again focus on plastic pollution and our current day “disposable material culture”.

3rd May: We are holding an “The Importance of Pollinators” event featuring 3 talks including best-selling author Prof. Dave Goulson. This will take place from 6-8 pm in Cruciform LT2: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-importance-of-pollinators-tickets-42497573386
