Conduits of Invasive Aquatic Species into the UK: The Angling Route?

DTP student Emily Smith will be presenting a lunchtime Physical Geography Seminar at UCL Geography today, entitled “Conduits of Invasive Aquatic Species into the UK: The Angling Route?“. Emily’s research uses a combination of biological surveys of angling lakes, desiccation tolerance experiments and interviews with anglers to investigate the importance of angling as a pathway for the introduction of invasive aquatic species from Europe into the UK.
