Student Representatives

The management board invites two student representatives from each cohort to relay student issues and feedback to the board, and help ensure that the DTP remains responsive to student needs. The Management Board is responsible for monitoring and supporting the management and strategy underlying the DTP, and board meetings are held once a month at UCL.

New representatives are elected in May each year. Students in the first, second or third year of their PhD may nominate themselves to be student representative, who will be selected by a student vote.

The Student Representatives for 2016/17 are Phoebe Maund and Lucy Roberts from cohort 1, and Mark Jefferd and Lara Smale from cohort 2

Nominations for 2016/17 Student Representative

We are looking for four students to serve as representatives for their cohort for the next 12 months (until May 2017). Each representative will attend alternate monthly Management Board meetings and have the opportunity to add to the agenda. DTP students from cohorts 1 and 2 are invited to nominate themselves as representative for their cohort. If more than two students from a cohort volunteer, then the representative will be selected by an online student vote.

The next Management Board meeting will take place on the 16th June, 2-4pm, and both representatives will be invited to introduce themselves at this meeting.
